What types of accommodation are available?
Arctic Panorama Resort features comfortable and luxurious chalets (log cabins) with panoramic windows offering views of the Arctic nature and potentially the Northern Lights.
The resort features three unique chalets: Panorama Chalets with sweeping Arctic views, Romance Chalets for intimate escapes with champagne touches, and Polar Chalets offering front-row access to the Northern Lights. All chalets are crafted from Lapland timber, combining Nordic tradition, cozy interiors, and panoramic windows for a magical stay.
What amenities are included?
Guests enjoy concierge service, sauna area with jacuzzi and cold pool, Panorama restaurant (buffet breakfast included), lobby bar, free Wi‑Fi, private parking. There are also a lounge, luggage storage, and 24‑hour security.
What check‑in/out times should I expect?
Check-in begins at 16:00, and check-out is by 11:00. Advance arrival notification is recommended.
Are children and pets welcome?
Children of all ages are welcome. Babies from 0-2 years old stay free of charge in baby cots by request. Pets are not allowed.
Can I request special items or arrangements?
Yes – you can add special requests (e.g. Lappish Delicacies & Champagne, private transfers, celebration kit etc. ) during booking or by contacting our sales team at sales@arcticpanoramaresort.com.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all chalets and common areas.
Preparing for Your Arctic Holiday
What should I wear during my stay?
For an Arctic holiday, it’s essential to dress warmly.
- Layering is the key: Base Layer: Moisture-wicking thermal underwear.
- Mid Layer: Fleece or wool sweaters for insulation.
- Outer Layer: Windproof and waterproof jacket, as well as thermal pants.
- Footwear: Insulated, waterproof boots suitable for snow and ice.
- Accessories: Warm hat, gloves, scarf, and thick socks are crucial. Don’t forget sunglasses to protect your eyes from the glare of the snow.
Winter clothes hire is possible at the resort, please make a booking in advance with our sales team. The clothing set include thermal overall, winter shoes and gloves. For bookings we need adult sizes XS-XXXL, children's size in cm and shoe sizes.
Location & Getting There
Where is the resort located?
Arctic Panorama Resort is situated on the fell of Ounasvaara in Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland approximately 5 km from the city center, 8 km from Rovaniemi airport and 8 km from Santa Claus Village.
Our location offer panoramic views of the Arctic nature and the Northern Lights.
How can I get to Arctic Panorama Resort?
You can reach the resort by booking a private transfer or our shuttle service (operating daily between 11:00–18:00), for bookings please contact our sales team. Taxis are also available at the airport and railway station.
Our shuttle service operates between resort, airport, city center and Santa Claus Village.
For guests arriving with own car we have free parking space available.
Activities & Experiences
What activities are available on-site?
Guests can enjoy the sauna area daily and free use of snowshoes and toboggans. Northern Lights hunts are available, and ski slopes and cross-country trails are just 1 km away, with a golf course less than 500 m from the resort. When is the best time to see the Northern Lights?
The Aurora Borealis can be seen from late August to early April. The best viewing periods are September–November and February–April, when skies are usually clearer due to less snowfall and earth is in an ideal position towards the sky.

Is there a restaurant on-site?
Yes — Panorama Restaurant offers fusion kitchen combining Arctic ingredients with mediterranean recipes. Guests can enjoy buffet breakfast and half board buffet. Special dietary requests can be accommodated.
